Welcome to my new site!!

I  still have much to do before I have it looking the way I like. Feel free to have  a quick look around and stop back in every now and then, as I will be adding new material periodically.

12/28/04 Update

I have stripped the car down about as far as I am going to. Everything inside the cab is out- including the steering column, windows and assemblies, all the dash knobs gauges, etc. I took all of the fenders off. I threw the rear ones away because they were fiberglass and had custom molded-in tail lights. Now that the car has been disassembled, we(meaning me and my father) need to finish the cutting out the rusted out spots and weld in new metal.

There's a Volkswagen Salvage about 50mi away. He had quite a few Bugs. and 50s-60s Type 2's although most of his cars are in the mid 60s to mid 70s era Beetles with an old Chevy truck thrown in here, and a late 40's Lincoln over there( looked like a land barge sitting next to the Beetles). The man sold us two rear fenders, a good rear bumper w/ reverse lights and lisence plate light assem. for $90. I've also updated the photo gallery.

Recently, I bought a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle Std., which I've just started restoring. This is my online diary, in which I will post info and pictures about the progress I've made from day to day.  I purchased it Sept. 18th, 2004.
